If you're looking for one of Valencia's most exciting live music venues this summer, look no further than 16 Toneladas. The much-loved rock club has unveiled a packed July programme featuring everything from punk rock and blues to garage, cumbia, Afrobeat and rockabilly, proving once again why it remains one of the city's essential destinations for live music. 16 Toneladas continues to champion both international touring artists and homegrown talent, with a month full of must-see shows.

The month begins on 1 July with blues royalty as John Primer & Giles Robson Band take to the stage. Grammy-nominated Chicago blues legend John Primer joins forces with acclaimed British harmonica virtuoso Giles Robson for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of authentic blues.
On 3 July, the venue celebrates local talent with De La Terreta, featuring Diversos, Roble and Néstor Rausell y Los Impostores, before American skate-punk favourites Authority Zero and Canadian melodic hardcore veterans Belvederedeliver a high-energy double bill on 4 July. That same night, fans can also enjoy the nostalgic All Stars 80's party and the late-night Killer Lords tribute to Lords of the New Church, making for one of the busiest nights of the month.
Blues-rock returns on 5 July with the electrifying Ghalia Volt, whose gritty blend of slide guitar, garage blues and Southern swagger has won fans around the world.
Spanish singer-songwriter Paul Val performs on 7 July, before one of the month's standout international concerts arrives on 8 July as Danish garage rock sensations The Courettes bring their explosive mix of '60s girl-group harmonies, surf rock and fuzzed-out garage punk to Valencia. Known for their thrilling live shows, they're guaranteed to get the room moving.
The global flavour continues on 9 July when Mexican outfit Son Rompe Pera arrive with their unique fusion of traditional marimba music, cumbia and punk attitude. Their wildly energetic performances have earned a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts on the international circuit, making this one of July's most intriguing concerts.
Rock 'n' roll fans are also in for a treat as the 14th Club Elvis Summer Festival takes over the venue from 10–12 July. Three days celebrating the spirit of Elvis Presley and vintage American music promise a weekend packed with performances, dancing and classic rock 'n' roll culture.
Later in the month, London Afrobeat Collective bring infectious grooves and irresistible rhythms to 16 Toneladas on 23 July, while Los Electro Dinámicos and Florencio André deliver a lively night of vintage sounds on 24 July.
The month closes in style on 30 July with Australian garage-punk favourites Gee Tee joined by Filete, ensuring July ends on a suitably loud and chaotic note.
For more than a decade, 16 Toneladas has earned its reputation as one of Valencia's premier independent music venues, regularly hosting internationally acclaimed artists alongside the best emerging acts from Spain and beyond. With its intimate atmosphere, outstanding sound and eclectic programming, it continues to be a cornerstone of the city's thriving live music scene.
