Galleta Rock Fest

Some festivals are about spectacle. Others are about connection. Galleta Rock Fest 2025 proved it could be both.

Held in the heart of Aguilar de Campoo, this year’s edition brought together legends and fresh blood, old-school moshers and new-generation punks, all bound by one thing: a shared love for loud guitars, honest lyrics, and the feeling of being exactly where you belong.

Kaos Etíliko kicked things off in the heat of the afternoon. Under a blazing sun, they turned sweat into movement. From the first song, the crowd responded with intensity—jumping, chanting, and launching the first of many circle pits. Their blend of classic anthems and newer material set the bar high.

Then came Insurrectos, straight from Silió, with no gimmicks—just raw punk spirit. Their gritty sound and sharp lyrics hit home, and when they played their latest track “TODO VA BIEN,” it was met with a roar that proved how quickly a new song can become a fan favorite. You didn’t need to know every lyric to feel part of it—you just had to be there.

As the sun began to dip behind the hills, Reincidentes took the stage. And with them came a wave of memory and message. Their politically charged set reminded the crowd that punk isn’t just sound—it’s substance. Songs like “Vicio” and “Ay Dolores” echoed into the golden sky, blending protest with poetry, power with purpose.

The torch then passed to Periferia, a young band from La Roca del Vallés making their mark with style. Their mix of punk rock, melodic hardcore, and even pop-punk influences felt fresh and fearless. Berta’s voice carried across the campa like a call to arms from a new generation not afraid to take the mic—and the moment.

And then came fire. Literally. As night fell, Soziedad Alkoholika lit up the stage—part of their fierce Confrontación Tour—with a storm of riffs, flames, and sheer force. The pit went wild as they ripped through “Ratas,” “Motxalo,” and “Nos vimos.” It was a sonic punch to the gut and a reminder that few bands deliver rage and precision with such command.

Finally, just when it felt like there was no energy left, Josetxu Piperrak brought everyone back to life. With humor, heart, and a punk spirit that refuses to age, he closed the night in the best way possible—making strangers sing together, laugh together, and jump one last time before calling it a day.

Galleta Rock Fest 2025 wasn’t just a festival. It was proof that punk is alive—not in museums, not on playlists, but in the dust, the sweat, the voices, and the fire.
