On Sunday night, July 27, 2025, Valencia's intimate rock club 16 Toneladas was transformed into a punk‑charged battlefield. Kate Clover, from L.A., brought her Second Wave punk‑meets‑power‑pop to the Spanish underground with unbeatable flair and a combustible edge.

From the moment she launched into high‑octane tracks like Tearjerker, Channel Zero, and Love You To Death, the stage felt like it was embedded in ’70s punk ethos—with a modern bite. Though exact setlist entries from this gig weren't captured, reviewers and previous performances suggest an electrifying blend from Bleed Your Heart Out and The Apocalypse Dream.

Kate and her band appeared sharp and theatrical—suit-and-tie chic meets punk renegades—fuelling a duality of elegance and controlled chaos. Her guitar work and commanding vocals cut sharp; the band, including guitarist Brandon Welchez, added fire with dizzying energy.

The crowd didn’t just watch—they erupted. Valencia’s older punks pogoed like it was their first raucous night, underscoring Kate’s ability to transcend generations.

Kate Clover doesn’t re‑invent punk—but she makes it feel indispensable in 2025. Her Valencia set was short, yes, but blasting—making the compact space feel like a movement. For anyone hungry for guitar‑blasts, lyrical bite, and relentless rhythm, this was a show not to be missed.
