Los Enemigos

Spanish rock institution Los Enemigos are heading to Sala Moon on 12 November, bringing decades of attitude, razor-sharp songwriting and fresh material from their new album, Canciones Chulas, to Valencia.

Some bands play by the rules. Los Enemigos have spent much of their career making their own. Born in Madrid in the 1980s, the quartet built a formidable reputation on gritty guitars, streetwise lyrics and a distinctive blend of Spanish rock that refuses to be polished into something predictable. Now, they're back on the road, and Valencia is next on the agenda.

The band will take over Sala Moon on Thursday, 12 November, for a show centred on Canciones Chulas, their latest studio album. For anyone who likes their rock honest, direct and delivered without unnecessary frills, this is a date worth marking in the diary.

Led by singer and guitarist Josele Santiago, alongside Fino Oyonarte, Chema “Animal” Pérez and David Krahe, Los Enemigos have carved out a place among the essential names in Spanish rock. Their music mixes raw rock ’n’ roll energy with sharp observations, dark humour and melodies that stick around long after the amplifiers have cooled.

Since emerging in Madrid in the mid-1980s, the band have travelled through break-ups, reunions and changing musical fashions without losing the character that made them special. Their influence stretches well beyond their original following, earning them a devoted audience among fans who value personality and authenticity over studio perfection.

The Valencia concert puts the spotlight on Canciones Chulas, released in October 2026 through Mushroom Pillow. The album follows 2020's Bestieza and finds the band continuing to explore their own musical territory, with the new record providing fresh material for this latest run of dates.

The title track offers a taste of what awaits, while the wider album gives the group another opportunity to bring their songwriting to life on stage. Expect new songs sitting alongside the back catalogue that has kept Los Enemigos firmly in the conversation for decades.

Located on Calle de Sant Vicent Màrtir, Sala Moon is the setting for an evening dedicated to Spanish rock with real substance. In a live room, Los Enemigos' combination of guitar-driven punch, sardonic lyrics and hard-earned musical chemistry is exactly where it belongs.

This is a chance to catch a band with history behind them and new ideas in front of them. Whether you've followed them since their early days or are discovering their music through Canciones Chulas, expect a night that puts the songs first and lets the rock ’n’ roll do the talking. Get ready for guitars, attitude and Spanish rock at its most unapologetic. Los Enemigos are back in town.
