On 31st May, the beautiful natural surroundings of Botànic Cullera will once again come alive with music, art, food and community spirit as Músiques i Art al Botànic returns for a full day designed to be experienced slowly, under the sun and surrounded by nature. Set against the stunning green backdrop of Cullera’s botanical park, this event is much more than just a concert. It is a celebration of creativity in all its forms — combining live music, visual art, Mediterranean gastronomy and the relaxed atmosphere that only a Valencian lunchtime gathering can truly deliver.

Headlining the day are Carolina Otero & The Someone Elses, bringing their powerful live energy to the stage as part of the presentation tour for Lilith Lo Sabe. Known for their emotional intensity, atmospheric sound and magnetic stage presence, the band continue to build a reputation as one of the most compelling alternative acts around. Expect hypnotic melodies, raw emotion and a performance perfectly suited to the open-air surroundings of Botànic Cullera.

But the music is only part of the experience. The event also features the inauguration of the photo-painting exhibition by Toni Benito Carpio, adding a strong artistic dimension to the day. The combination of live art and live music creates exactly the kind of atmosphere this event thrives on — creative, welcoming and deeply connected to its surroundings.

And then there is the lunchtime vibe itself. Doors open from 10am, with the exhibition inauguration at 11am before the concert begins at midday — right as the Mediterranean sun starts warming the gardens and the first drinks begin flowing. By 14:30, the smell of freshly made paella will take over as people gather to eat, relax and continue the afternoon surrounded by music lovers, artists and nature.

It is the kind of event that feels unmistakably Valencian: sunshine, culture, conversation, live music and paella shared outdoors with friends. No rush, no stress — just a full day built around enjoying great art and good company. Taking place at Botànic Cullera on the Nazaret-Oliva road, the location itself adds to the charm. Removed from the noise of the city, the venue offers the perfect environment for an event that aims to reconnect people with live culture in a natural setting.

For anyone looking for something different this spring — a day where music, art and food blend together effortlessly under the open sky — Músiques i Art al Botànic is shaping up to be one of the most unique and enjoyable gatherings of the season.
