The Lemon Twigs

Valencia, get ready for a gloriously loud dose of retro-flavoured rock ’n’ roll. The Lemon Twigs return to the city on Sunday, October 25, with brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario bringing their gloriously unpredictable blend of jangling guitars, infectious melodies and full-throttle stage energy to The Rambleta at 8:30pm.

Fresh from the release of their May album, Look For Your Mind!, the New York duo have plenty of new material to unleash alongside the melodic hooks, psychedelic flourishes and vintage pop sensibilities that have made them one of the most exciting acts on the modern rock circuit.

The D’Addario brothers have built their reputation on a sound that reaches back to the golden age of guitar music without getting trapped in nostalgia.

Think Beatles-esque harmonies, power-pop punch, glam-rock swagger and a healthy disregard for musical boundaries. Their songs can shift from intricate, harmony-soaked pop to gloriously ragged rock ’n’ roll in the blink of an eye, while their live performances bring an extra dose of theatrical flair and youthful abandon.

Look For Your Mind! offers another opportunity to experience the brothers’ restless creativity, and Valencia audiences can expect a set packed with melodic twists, electrifying guitar work and the kind of infectious energy that makes standing still an increasingly unlikely option.

The Lemon Twigs are proof that classic songwriting and adventurous rock ’n’ roll remain a potent combination. If you like your live music bursting with character, big melodies and a little bit of beautiful chaos, this is one Sunday-night show worth getting out for.
