Spanish pop royalty arrived in Valencia in spectacular fashion last night as Aitana lit up Roig Arena in front of more than 16,000 ecstatic fans during the first of two completely sold-out shows. And if there was ever any doubt about who currently wears the crown of Spanish pop, this show erased it within seconds.

From the early hours of the evening, the area surrounding the arena had already transformed into a sea of blue. Fans dressed in tribute to Cuarto Azul — the album that defines this new era for the Catalan superstar — gathered beneath star-shaped accessories and glittering outfits, creating an atmosphere that felt less like a concert queue and more like a full-scale cultural event. Valencia wasn’t just hosting a gig; it was hosting a phenomenon.
The moment the lights dropped, the Roig Arena exploded. Aitana appeared lying on the symbolic bed from her Cuarto Azul universe before launching into “6 de febrero,” immediately sending the crowd into deafening singalongs that barely let up for the rest of the night.
What followed was a perfectly balanced celebration of every side of Aitana’s career. Massive pop anthems like “Los Ángeles,” “Más,” “Mariposas,” and “Formentera” collided with emotional, stripped-back moments during “Vas a quedarte” and “Cuando hables con él,” proving once again why she connects with audiences on such an enormous scale. Every lyric echoed back from the crowd with astonishing intensity.

But Aitana also came armed with surprises. One of the biggest reactions of the night arrived during the revamped dance break of “Miamor,” seamlessly blended with Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” turning the arena floor into a giant pop-fuelled nightclub. The production throughout the evening was slick, cinematic and bursting with energy, yet never overshadowed the emotional core of the show.
As the concert entered its final stretch, the atmosphere inside the venue became completely euphoric. “Las Babys” shook the arena from floor to ceiling before the emotional finale arrived with “La chica perfecta” and the visually stunning “Conexión psíquica.”

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. “Superestrella.” The song that has become the defining anthem of this era landed with enormous emotional weight, triggering one final explosion from the audience as thousands of voices sang every word back to her. It was loud, emotional, theatrical and triumphant — the kind of ending that leaves an arena buzzing long after the lights come up.
Aitana didn’t just perform in Valencia last night. She completely owned it.And with another 16,000 fans set to pack the Roig Arena again tonight, the Cuarto Azul era is proving to be far more than an album campaign — it’s becoming a movement.
