Villena is about to disappear under a tidal wave of leather, riffs and collective madness. From August 5–8, 2026, the dusty plains of Alicante will once again host Leyendas del Rock, and this time it’s not just another edition — it’s the XX Anniversary. Twenty years of volume, loyalty, sunstroke and heavy-metal survival instinct, all detonated in one four-day ritual.This isn’t a festival.It’s a metal endurance test disguised as a holiday. At the very top of the inferno sits HELLOWEEN, celebrating 40 years of power-metal glory. Not a token appearance, not a nostalgia wave — a full-force anniversary assault from one of the genre’s founding architects. Expect speed, melody, choruses so big they punch holes in the night sky. Then comes SAVATAGE, returning with an exclusive show in Spain. Let that sink in. This alone would justify the pilgrimage. Progressive metal royalty, drama, darkness, and songs built like gothic cathedrals of distortion. WARCRY arrive as the only festival appearance they’ll make in Spain in 2026 — a homegrown metal institution unleashing pure, defiant power in front of their people. And as if that wasn’t enough, STRATOVARIUS roll in armed with the full arsenal: Episode, Visions, Destiny, Infinite — a greatest-hits power-metal sermon delivered at jet-engine velocity. Add BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, led by riff-warlord Zakk Wylde, bringing biker-bar brutality and Sabbath-sized grooves that vibrate your ribcage loose.

And if all that isn't enough filling in the metal mayhem gaps inbetween - SAUROM bring their special show — folk metal, fantasy, bagpipes and chaos swirling together like a medieval tavern riot. SARATOGA, Spanish metal titans, sharpened and ready. THUNDERMOTHER inject pure rock’n’roll gasoline into the mix — loud, fast, and unapologetic. Leyendas del Rock happens in Villena for a reason. By day, the sun is an enemy combatant.
