Planet 8

The Ribera Alta is getting ready for a night of live music, local talent and community spirit as Planet 8, featuring Oscar Briz, take centre stage at L’Oncle Pere in L’Alcúdia on Saturday, November 14.

Part of Especial Ribera, this special event promises an intimate evening celebrating the music and creative energy of the Valencian region, bringing people together for a live performance in a setting where the connection between artists and audience takes centre stage.

Leading the musical line-up are Planet 8 and Oscar Briz, offering a chance to experience the performers in the welcoming surroundings of L’Oncle Pere. For music lovers who appreciate discovering artists outside the usual big-venue circuit, the event is an opportunity to enjoy a live show in a more personal environment, with the atmosphere of a local gathering and the music doing the talking.

Oscar Briz is an established figure in the Valencian music scene, with a career that has seen him explore different musical territories while maintaining a distinctive creative identity. His involvement adds another reason for local music fans to make the trip to L’Alcúdia, particularly those keen to support the artists and venues that help keep the region’s musical culture alive.

The event also shines a light on the importance of smaller venues and locally organised concerts. Across the Ribera Alta, these gatherings provide a meeting point for music fans, performers and communities, creating opportunities to experience live music beyond the larger concert halls and festival stages. Especial Ribera offers precisely that kind of occasion: a night to get together, enjoy the performance and celebrate the region’s cultural life.

The venue for the evening is L’Oncle Pere, located at Carrer de Bollène, 4, in L’Alcúdia. With doors open to music fans from 7pm, it’s an ideal opportunity to make an evening of it and enjoy a live performance in the heart of the town.

Whether you’re already familiar with Oscar Briz’s work or simply looking for a different kind of Saturday-night musical experience, Planet 8’s appearance makes this one to add to the calendar.
