Valencia’s vibrant live music scene is set to shake with classic rock’n’roll energy as iconic Spanish band Los Rebeldestake the stage at 16 Toneladas on Friday, 27 February 2026. This show — part of their ongoing “Gente Estridente” tour — is generating huge excitement among fans of authentic rock music, and due to overwhelming interest, the band will be performing again on Sunday, 1 March at the same venue — a clear sign that both nights are set to sell out.

Formed in Barcelona in 1979 by singer-guitarist Carlos Segarra together with Aurelio Morata and Moisés Sorolla, Los Rebeldes quickly became one of the most influential rock’n’roll bands in Spain. Over more than four decades, the group has earned a reputation as pioneers of Spanish rock with a catalogue of classics that have resonated with generations of listeners. Their sound, rooted in early rockabilly influences, expanded over the years to embrace rhythm & blues, surf, swing, and classic rock styles — all anchored by Segarra’s unmistakable voice and stage presence. From their first album "Cervezas, chicas y… rockabilly!" to later hits like "Mescalina" and "Mediterráneo", Los Rebeldes’ music combines raw energy with melodic hooks that continue to captivate audiences.

The February performances in Valencia form part of the band’s Gente Estridente tour, which celebrates the enduring spirit of their music. Expect a setlist packed with beloved anthems alongside newer material that reflects the group’s evolving sound while staying true to the heart of rock’n’roll. Performing in such an intimate but raucous setting as 16 Toneladas gives fans a chance to experience Los Rebeldes’ vibrant live show up close — from driving guitars and booming rhythms to the crowd-pleasing charisma that has defined the band for decades.

With both nights at 16 Toneladas poised to sell out, this double-header marks a major moment for rock fans in Valencia and beyond. Whether you’re a long-time follower or discovering the band for the first time, these concerts promise the unmistakable thrill of rock at its purest — energetic, unfiltered, and unforgettable. Don’t miss what’s shaping up to be one of the standout rock events of late winter in the city: two nights of Los Rebeldes bringing decades of classic Spanish rock straight to the stage.
