On April 15, 2024, punk rock legend Marky Ramone brought his Blitzkrieg tour to Sala Moon in Valencia, delivering a night that transported fans straight back to the golden era of punk.

The venue buzzed with anticipation as the former Ramones drummer took the stage, accompanied by his band, Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, featuring Spanish vocalist Iñaki “Pela” Urbizu and Argentine musicians Marcelo Gallo on guitar and Martín Sauan on bass.

The setlist was a relentless barrage of Ramones classics, with approximately 36 songs performed back-to-back, including fan favorites like “Blitzkrieg Bop,” “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker,” and “I Wanna Be Sedated.” The band’s tight performance and Marky’s thunderous drumming kept the energy high throughout the night.

Opening the show was German punk rock band Double Crush Syndrome, who warmed up the crowd with their high-energy set, setting the stage for the main act.

The concert was part of a 26-date tour across Spain, celebrating the enduring legacy of the Ramones. Marky Ramone’s performance at Sala Moon was a testament to the timeless appeal of punk rock and left the audience chanting for more.
