Men I Trust

Dream-pop darlings Men I Trust are set to cast their spell over Prospect Park this summer with a headlining performance at the beloved BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival on Friday, July 18. Known for their hypnotic blend of soft synths, jazzy guitar lines, and ethereal vocals, the Montreal-based trio promise a chilled-out yet deeply immersive night under the stars.

With their signature lo-fi aesthetic and effortlessly cool stage presence, Men I Trust have quietly become one of indie music’s most compelling live acts. Their set is expected to draw heavily from their acclaimed 2021 album Untourable Album and 2023’s Oncle Jazz Deluxe, delivering laid-back grooves and introspective vibes that perfectly complement a Brooklyn summer evening.

The band’s performances are known for their intimacy and subtlety — don’t expect pyrotechnics or theatrics, but rather a sonic landscape that invites the audience to slow down, feel, and float. Tracks like “Show Me How,” “Seven,” and “Billie Toppy” are sure to be crowd favorites.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts around 7:30 p.m. As always with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, this is a free, all-ages event, though early arrival is recommended to secure a good spot on the lawn.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering their hazy, genre-blurring sound, Men I Trust at Prospect Park promises to be one of the most serene and stylish highlights of the summer festival season.
