There are few better ways to spend a summer Saturday than sitting beneath the Mediterranean sun, a cold beer in hand, live music filling the air and a freshly cooked paella waiting just around the corner. On Sunday 21 June, that's exactly what awaits music lovers as Acústica Rock Covers take to the stage at Botànic Cullera for the final edition of the popular Músiques i Art al Botànic series before the venue takes its summer break until September.

Set within the beautiful natural surroundings of Botànic Cullera, this unique daytime event combines live music, art, food and community spirit in one of the most relaxed and picturesque settings on the Valencian coast. It's become a favourite gathering point for locals and visitors alike, offering something increasingly rare in today's music scene: a chance to slow down, enjoy great company and experience live music in broad daylight.

The day begins with the opening of the venue at 10am, followed by the inauguration of the exhibition "Natura Indòmita"by artist Eleni Giannadaki at 11am. Then, at midday, the focus shifts to the music as Acústica Rock Covers deliver an energetic set packed with classic rock favourites and crowd-pleasing anthems.

Known for breathing new life into some of rock's most beloved songs, the band have built a loyal following thanks to performances that combine musicianship, passion and an infectious sense of fun. Expect singalong choruses, familiar riffs and plenty of opportunities to raise a glass with friends as the soundtrack unfolds beneath the summer sky.

And speaking of raising a glass, no visit to Botànic Cullera would be complete without enjoying one of the venue's cold beers or sampling a refreshing local vermouth while taking in the atmosphere. This is lunchtime live music done properly – no rushing, no queues for the last train home, just good music, good food and good company.

Once the concert reaches its finale, the celebration continues with one of Valencia's most treasured traditions: paella. Served from 2.30pm, the post-show meal has become a highlight of these gatherings, bringing artists, music fans and families together around the table in true Mediterranean style.

It's a formula that perfectly captures what makes the Músiques i Art al Botànic series so special. Where else can you spend the morning exploring an art exhibition, enjoy a live rock concert at lunchtime, sip a local vermouth in a botanical setting and then settle down for a freshly prepared paella?

Perhaps most importantly, this event marks the final concert at Botànic Cullera before the series returns in September. That gives this edition an added sense of occasion—a chance to celebrate everything the venue has brought to the local cultural scene over recent months before taking a well-earned summer pause.

So whether you're a regular visitor or discovering Botànic Cullera for the first time, Sunday 21 June offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy one last musical gathering before the summer season takes over. Live music. Art. Cold beers. Local vermouth. Paella. Sunshine. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
