Roxette returns to the stage with concerts in Barcelona and Valencia!

Almost a decade after what we thought would be their last concert Roxette returns to the stage with a new international tour. Gessle, leader, composer and founder of the iconic Swedish band, collects the legacy together with Swedish superstar Lena Philipsson, in a renewed production that celebrates the history, music and energy of Roxette. They will perform at the Roig Arena in Valencia on November 15 and at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona on November 16.

The first stage of Roxette In Concert has just ended and has been a resounding success. Starting with a revolutionary performance in Cape Town, South Africa, the tour continued in Pretoria, and then went on to offer nine unforgettable concerts in Australia. The energy was electrifying, with more than 75,000 fans singing in unison the most iconic hymns, demonstrating once again the timeless appeal of Roxette's music. The response has been extraordinary, with critics and fans celebrating the powerful performances.

"We may be alone in the first quarter of 2025, but Roxette is already the main contender for the best live show of the year." - Sheldon Ang Media

"More than a concert, it was a reminder of what live music should be: moving, electric and unforgettable." - Music Festivals Australia

"The repertoire was a master class in creating hits, from the ballad It Must Have Been Love to the energetic How Do You Do! And Joyride. The encore was pure nostalgic journey - Spending My Time and Listen to Your Heart touched the emotional fibre, while The Look put the whole audience on their feet. Closing with Queen of Rain, Roxette showed that, even after so many years, her music continues to resonate.” – Newcastle Live

Five years have passed since Roxette lost Marie Fredriksson to cancer, a devastating loss that left her family, friends and fans in mourning. However, his legacy is still alive.

"The first part of the tour has been an incredible experience. It has been very emotional and powerful to reconnect with the fans and bring Roxette's music back to the stage. The response has been really overwhelming. Marie will always be irreplaceable, but I have been lucky enough to find a wonderful voice and a brilliant interpreter in Lena Philipsson. I co-wrote Lena's first big hit in 1986, and she's one of Sweden's brightest stars.” – Per Gessle

"The first part of the tour has been absolutely incredible! Working with Per and singing these iconic songs has been a real pleasure. I'm excited for what's coming." – Lena Philipsson

Later this year, Roxette will take her impressive show to various cities in Europe, offering fans a unique opportunity to relive the soundtrack of their lives. With a renewed and powerful live production, but with the same timeless magic that made Roxette one of the most successful pop acts of all time.

The long-awaited sand tour will follow a select series of summer concerts across Europe, including several appearances at major festivals and four sold-out shows in Sweden.

The band is composed of long-time Roxette collaborators and top-tier musicians: Christoffer Lundquist, Magnus Börjeson, Magnus "Norpan" Eriksson, Dea Norberg, along with legendary original Roxette members Clarence Öfwerman and Jonas Isacsson.
