SOiL
SOiL are back on the attack, and there's plenty of unfinished business left in the tank. The American hard rock heavyweights have signed a new global deal with Better Noise Music, marking the beginning of another chapter in a career that has already delivered almost three decades of hard-hitting riffs, road miles and rock radio anthems.

To celebrate the partnership, the band have also released a brand-new single, 'Enemy X', offering the first taste of what's coming from their next studio album, currently planned for 2027. And if this track is anything to go by, they're certainly not planning on taking their foot off the accelerator.
'Enemy X' is a riff-driven slab of hard rock, built around the muscular guitars, commanding vocals and punchy delivery that have become SOiL trademarks. There's plenty of weight behind it, but there's also a message worth listening to.
Bassist Tim King describes the track as a reflection on the anger, division and negativity dominating the world today, challenging listeners to question what they're actually fighting for and whether they've lost sight of what really matters. It's a timely subject, delivered with the sort of sonic muscle that makes you want to turn the volume up rather than sit quietly contemplating the lyrics.

The new partnership with Better Noise Music looks like a natural fit. The label has established itself as a major supporter of guitar-driven rock, and SOiL arrive with a catalogue, reputation and live history that few bands can match.
Formed in 1997, SOiL have sold more than two million albums worldwide, building their reputation on the strength of tracks including 'Halo', 'Unreal', 'Redefine', 'The Lesser Man' and 'Shine On'. Their breakthrough came with 2001's Scars, released through J Records after the band caught the attention of legendary music executive Clive Davis. MTV exposure and tours alongside Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie helped propel them onto bigger stages, establishing SOiL as a formidable live proposition.
Subsequent releases including re.de.fine, True Self, Picture Perfect and Whole kept the momentum going, while their 2023 covers collection Play It Forward demonstrated a band still prepared to have fun with its influences and push beyond familiar territory. The current line-up features Ryan McCombs on vocals, Tim King on bass, Adam Zadel on guitar and TJ Taylor on drums.
Nearly 30 years into the journey, SOiL remain committed to what they do best: big guitars, powerful hooks and hard rock with plenty of attitude. The Better Noise deal gives them a fresh platform, while 'Enemy X' suggests there's still plenty of creative fire left in the engine room.
With a full-length album expected in 2027, this is more than a new single and a change of record label. It's the opening shot of SOiL's next chapter.
Welcome back to the noise. SOiL are far from finished!
