The Pretenders

The inauguration of Nits Voromar kicked off in style on Sunday June 16th, at the North Marina Auditorium, in Valenica Marina - with a performance by The Pretenders and Introglycerina.

Chrissie Hynde (the only remaining member of the original lineup and definitely the most memorable) took centre stage - with thigh length white boots and her iconic style, she looked every bit the rock star she is!

The concert was sold out and the crowd sang along to memorable classics including: "Don't Get Me Wrong", "I'll Stand By You" and "Middle Of The Road" with and emotional encore of "Brass In Pocket"

With Hynde´s energy and passion resonating throughout the auditorium from start to finish - this was the perfect way to kick off three nights of incredible concerts.

I have a feeling Nits De Voromar will become a firm fixture on the Valencia festival calendar.
