The countdown is officially on. In just three weeks, legendary American rockers ZZ Top will arrive in Valencia to headline FAR València, bringing more than five decades of blues-soaked rock 'n' roll to the city's stunning Marina Norte.

Taking place on 22 July, the concert is shaping up to be one of the biggest classic rock events of the Spanish summer.

Since forming in Houston, Texas, in 1969, ZZ Top have become true rock icons. Their unmistakable image—long beards, sunglasses and hot rods—is almost as famous as their music. But it's their incredible catalogue of songs that has cemented their legendary status. Over the course of an extraordinary career, the band has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, earned countless Gold and Platinum records, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by none other than Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.

Fans heading to FAR València can expect a setlist overflowing with classics. From the swagger of La Grange and Tushto MTV-era favourites Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, Gimme All Your Lovin' and Cheap Sunglasses, ZZ Top have created some of the most recognisable rock songs ever recorded. Their concerts remain a masterclass in blues-infused rock, combining virtuoso musicianship with effortless cool and an infectious sense of fun.

Following the passing of longtime bassist Dusty Hill in 2021, the band continues to honour his legacy with Elwood Francis on bass alongside founding members Billy F Gibbons and Frank Beard. The current line-up has been widely praised for keeping the spirit and sound of ZZ Top alive, with recent tours proving the band can still deliver the same electrifying performances that have thrilled audiences for generations.
